About Queer Meditations.

Updated: May 4

IF YOU ARE…

a queer person who has tried meditation groups in the past, but haven’t found a good fit…

A parent without access to childcare, so you haven’t been able to get involved with mindfulness groups before…

Someone who WANTS to like meditating, but hates sitting still…

A trans being who wants a spiritual community, but is nervous about entering cis/het centered spaces…

Then YOU are invited to join Queer Meditation! A one hour, weekly group that offers emotional check ins, guided meditation time, “silent” meditation time, and access to community.

(Silent is in quotes because we welcome movement and we welcome children.)

Folks who join Queer Meditation will find ample space for various expressions of gender and queerness to be acknowledged and respected in a way that is deeply affirming. When we hold each other with such respect and care, we open the door to personal transformation.

You will also find space for emotions, sensory needs, body comfort, and support so that you’re perfectly comfortable to be yourself. We offer in person and virtual meetings as an effort to be as accessible as our resources allow, so no one is left out or forgotten.
